Shipping and terms of payment

 

Costs of delivery and shipping and handling charges

 

1. Terms of delivery

1.1 The goods are delivered by sending a consignment, containing the item purchased, to the address given by the Purchaser.

1.2 Delivery will be made in return for the packing, shipping and handling charges specified. Should the Purchaser require a special type of despatch, that incurs higher costs, he or she shall also bear said additional costs.

1.3 The deadline for delivery shall begin to run with advance payment upon the payment order being made to the transferring bank on the day after the payment order is initiated, and, with other types of payment, on the day after the contract is concluded, and shall end upon the expiry of the last day of the deadline. Should the last day of the deadline be a Saturday, Sunday or a recognised national public holiday at the delivery location, the next working day shall be counted in its stead.

The delivery time is approx. 3 - 5 days. Should you order a number of items as part of an order, for which different delivery times apply, we shall despatch the goods in multiple consignments (partial deliveries), according to their availability. The delivery time specified for the respective item shall be pertinent. No additional shipping and handling charges shall be due.

We are closed between Christmas and New Year. The delivery deadline shall, during this period, commence upon the first working day in the new year.

1.4 We make every effort to deliver the goods ordered by the desired delivery date. Should it not be possible to make a delivery on time, we will let you know as soon as possible. We reserve the right to make partial deliveries, unless that is recognisably not feasible for you. No additional costs will be incurred to you as a result.

2. An overview of the packing costs and shipping and handling charges:

2.1. Adoratio Schokoladenkunst Naschwerk GmbH & Co. KG bears most of the costs of careful packaging and the reliable delivery of the goods. Your share of the shipping and handling charges for the delivery within Germany amounts to a flat rate of € 6.95 per order.Should it be necessary for us to deliver your order in multiple consignments, we will naturally only charge said amount once. For addresses within Germany, any orders of over € 50.00 are shipped free of charge!

2.2. In the event of revocation without the item being exchanged, the amount will be reimbursed. You can return items free of charge as from a goods value of € 40.00.

2.3. It is possible for us to deliver on account via our payment service provider PayPal. We reserve the right to decline payment on account.

2.4. Delivery will be made within Germany.

2.5. We also offer delivery to the following countries, on the following terms and conditions:

a) Austria/Belgium/Luxembourg/France/Denmark/Poland/The Czech Republic/The Netherlands (depending upon the weight of the consignment)
Up to 1 kg: € 12.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 2kg: € 14.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 3kg: € 15.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 4kg: € 16.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 5kg: € 17.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 10kg: € 19.95 in shipping and handling charges

b) Italy/Spain/Hungary/Slovakia/Slovenia/Sweden/Great Britain/Hungary
(depending upon the weight of the consignment)
Up to 1 kg: € 14.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 2kg: € 15.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 3kg: € 16.95 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 4kg: € 17.95 in shipping and handling charges

b) Switzerland: You will receive a separate order confirmation without German VAT on the products. You will be invoiced separately, by the Swiss customs, for the customs duties, as well as, if applicable, the Swiss alcohol duty, and also the Swiss VAT.

The shipping and handling charges for consignments to Switzerland amount to:

Up to 2kg: € 17.50 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 3kg: € 19 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 4kg: € 20.50 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 5kg: € 23 in shipping and handling charges
Up to 10kg: € 28 in shipping and handling charges

2.7. Should you order a number of items in the course of placing an order, for which different delivery times apply, we will despatch the goods in a single consignment (unless anything to the contrary has been agreed). In such cases, the delivery time that applies to the item in your order with the longest delivery time shall apply to your total order for the goods.

2.8. Should it not be possible to deliver the product ordered in good time, e.g. due to damage that has occurred in transit, we shall inform you without delay. You will, in such cases, be free to wait for the product ordered or cancel your order. In the event of a cancellation, any payments already made will be refunded without delay. 2.9. We shall be entitled to make partial deliveries, at our own expense, as long as this is feasible for you.

 

3. Damage in transit

3.1 Should goods be supplied that have obviously been damaged in transit, please file a complaint about such faults with the postman or carrier immediately, and please get in touch with us as soon as possible (info@adoratio.eu).

3.2. Failing to file a complaint or make contact with us shall not affect your statutory warranty claims. However, you will help us to file our own claims with the carrier or in regard to the transport insurance.

2. Payment options

 

You have a choice between various payment options:

 

* Payment on account

 

* Credit card

 

* PayPal

 

You can select a payment method during the ordering process, and will then be re-routed via an encrypted line to the page of our secure payment services provider, PayPal.

 

1. All prices are to be understood as end customer prices, inclusive of the statutory VAT, but exclusive of any shipping and handling charges which may be added.

2. Payment may be made on account, by credit card or PayPal. The available payment methods will also depend upon whether you are ordering for the first time or live abroad. Adoratio Schokoladenkunst Naschwerk GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods, e.g. depending upon the outcome of a creditworthiness check.

3. When you select the advance payment method - which we only offer temporarily - we will provide you with our bank details on the order confirmation. The amount invoiced is to be transferred to our bank account within 10 days. The delivery of the goods shall be made upon receipt of payment. Should the payment not be made during this time, the claim to the goods ordered shall lapse.

4. When paying by PayPal, your account will not be debited until the order confirmation has been sent to you.

5. When paying by direct debit, your account will not be debited until the goods have been shipped.

6. You will only have a right of offsetting if your counter-claims have been judicially established with legal validity or are undisputed, or have been accepted by us in writing. You may only exercise a right of retention if the claims arise from the same contractual relationship.

7. Should the Purchaser be in arrears with payment, any negligence during this period shall be deemed the Purchaser’s fault. He or she shall also be liable for coincidental events unless the damage would also have occurred if contractual performance had been executed in good time.

8. The right to assert greater damage shall not be excluded.
